Faculty & Staff

Danielle Miller is our Directress. Ms. Danielle first began her passion for education while working with children with autism spectrum disorders. She has a degree in Psychology with several years of experience as an early childhood educator, and administrator.  She is inspired by how the Montessori method of education emphasizes active learning with each child’s unique pace of development. Ms. Danielle is committed to an exceptional learning environment that engages students, staff, families and the community.



Terry Meeks is a member of our Board of Directors.  Her many years of experience as a Montessori educator provide wisdom in advising and guiding Liberty Eagle Academy’s development.  In addition to a wealth of knowledge and experience, Ms. Terry also has Pan American Montessori Society certification.



Ms. Amber Lee is our Lead Elementary Teacher. She holds AMI [Association Montessori International] and NAMTA [North American Montessori Teachers’ Association] certifications among other teaching certifications, and American Sign Language certification. Ms. Amber Lee has worked in Montessori environments since 1999, and she especially loves the way children’s absorbent unbridled minds blossom in Montessori environments.



Ms. Wendy is our Assistant Elementary Teacher.  She has her Bachelor’s of Arts in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, and Sociology, and she is currently pursuing NAMC Lower Elementary Montessori training and embracing the opportunity to use her background in public education to work alongside Ms. Amber Lee in guiding our inaugural Elementary class.  Ms. Wendy loves the way in which Montessori empowers children to be strong leaders.



Dr. Brent is one of the owners of Liberty Eagle Academy, as well as our Elementary Assistant Entrepreneurship Skills Teacher.  He completed his Residency in Family Medicine at the University of Texas, his M.D. at Mercer University, and both his B.S. in Biology and his B.S. in Chemistry at Martha Berry College.  Dr. Brent enjoys leading lessons in a variety of subjects, and he often directs focus onto how passions and interests can translate into business endeavors.



Dr. Anna is one of the owners of Liberty Eagle Academy as well.  Dr. Anna is our Elementary Assistant Language Arts Teacher.  She completed her Residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas,  her M.D. at Mercer University, and her B.S. in Biochemistry at Kennesaw State University.  Dr. Anna loves the independent exploration Montessori incorporates because it allows children to follow their interests.



Ms. Audrey is our Lead Primary Teacher at Liberty Eagle Academy.  In addition to having 17 years of experience in leading a Primary classroom, she also has completed her North America Montessori Center Primary certification.  Ms. Audrey appreciates the way in which Montessori education facilitates the multi-faceted development of children’s holistic development.



Ms. Ashleigh is our Assistant Primary Teacher.  She recently completed her B.S. in both Biology and Psychology.  She enjoys applying her knowledge of child development in the Primary classroom while she continues to learn more about the specifics of the Montessori methodology.  Ms. Ashleigh is especially enthusiastic about designing and implementing the arts and crafts curriculum for children in Primary.




Ms. Tara is our Lead Toddler 1 Teacher. Ms. Tara has her North American Montessori Center certification for Toddlers and Infants as well as several years of experience working in school environments. Ms. Tara loves the Montessori method and the spontaneous learning that happens in Montessori environments.



Ms. Kellie is our Assistant Toddler 1 Teacher.  She has a bachelors of science in Biology  and loves how the Montessori method approaches education.  Ms. Kellie loves helping the toddlers master tasks and lessons as their drive to be more independent continues to grow.




Ms. Courtney is our Lead Toddler 2 Teacher. She has obtained her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and is currently working towards completing her Bachelor’s degree as well.  Ms. Courtney also has North American Montessori Center certification for Toddlers and Infants in addition to 9 years experience working in the Montessori community, and looks forward to many more.



Ms. Katie is our Assistant Toddler 2 Teacher.  She has a long background of teachers in her family, and she has always enjoyed working with children of all ages.  Ms. Katie really admires how Montessori environments foster children’s development of self-reliance and independence–two traits she has observed are crucial to success!




Ms. Emily is our Lead Infant Teacher. She obtained her Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from West Georgia Technical College, and she also has her North American Montessori Center Toddlers and Infants certification.  Ms. Emily has worked in a variety of childcare settings before she found her true passion in Montessori–she loves to create new, age-appropriate work for her classroom.



Ms. Brittany is one of our Assistant Infant Teachers.  She loves working with children of all ages, but enjoys her time with the infants the most.  Ms. Brittany loves how Montessori encourages adults to promote child autonomy and to limit assistance to only the times when the child really needs it.




Ms. Crystal is one of our Assistant Infant Teachers.  She has experience in nearly every age level at our school!  She particularly loves that Montessori empowers children to follow a variety of interests, and how the Montessori method facilitates holistic development.



Ms. Leigh (not pictured) is our School Counselor and the Elementary Assistant Home Economics Teacher.  She is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and she has her M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling, as well as her B.S. in Sociology.  Ms. Leigh particularly enjoys guiding our Elementary class in lessons of sewing and other practical life exercises.
